LLM SEO, sometimes called LLMO, is optimizing content to be surfaced and cited by large language model tools like ChatGPT and Claude. It frames the work around the models specifically, but in practice it is the same discipline as generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO).

The LLM SEO framing is useful for remembering that you are optimizing for how a model retrieves and synthesizes, not just how a search index ranks. But the tactics do not differ from GEO.
Reachability, answer-first structure, citable facts, and off-site corroboration are the levers, whatever you call the discipline.
