Best Bing Rank Trackers (2026): Which Ones Really Track Bing

The best Bing rank trackers in 2026, checked against each vendor's own docs: which ones document Bing tracking, what they cost, and where Copilot citations fit.

Most lists of the best Bing rank trackers repeat each other, and several are out of date. Microsoft closed its official Bing Search APIs in 2025, vendor prices have moved, and ScrapingBee's popular roundup lists Ahrefs as a Bing tracker although Ahrefs' own documentation describes Google tracking only. This guide checks each Bing rank tracker against the vendor's own documentation, says which ones document Bing tracking, and keeps apart the things most people blur: where you rank in Bing, and whether Copilot cites you.

Geotoolbox, the site you are reading this on, sells an AI-visibility tool that tracks Copilot. It does not track Bing organic positions, so it appears below for the Copilot layer only, and it is not ranked first. Prices and Bing coverage were checked against each vendor's own pages on September 30, 2026. They change often, so confirm the current details before you buy.

What a Bing Rank Tracker Does Now

Bing rank tracking is the habit of asking Bing where your pages appear for a fixed list of keywords. A Bing rank tracker automates that check, usually once a day, by country and device. Microsoft used to offer an official API for Bing results, but the Bing Search APIs were retired on August 11, 2025, with "Grounding with Bing Search" in Azure AI Agents as the suggested replacement. Without that API, you are really choosing between a finished dashboard and a raw SERP API you wire up yourself.

In the US, Bing is small but not negligible. Statcounter's August 2026 desktop data puts Google at 81.99%, Bing at 12.82% and Yahoo at 3.36% of the US desktop search traffic it records across its member sites.

Bing matters for a second reason that has nothing to do with blue links. When web search is on, Microsoft says Copilot Chat sends a short query to Bing and uses the results in its answer, so Bing's index sits upstream of at least some Copilot answers. ChatGPT is murkier: its search draws on a Bing-class index and on OpenAI's own crawl, and how that blend works has not been published, so we do not treat Bing rank as a ChatGPT proxy.

That is why this guide separates two layers. The organic layer is your position in Bing's results. The AI layer is whether Copilot and Bing's AI answers cite you, which most Bing rank trackers do not document at all.

Diagram showing the Bing index feeding two layers: organic positions, measured by rank trackers, and Copilot and Bing AI answer citations, measured by AI visibility tools and Bing Webmaster Tools.
One Bing index, measured separately for positions and for citations. A rank tracker reads the first layer; a citation tracker reads the second, and Bing Webmaster Tools reports both for your own site.

Is Bing Worth Tracking?

For most sites, yes, but as a second line, and free data can settle it. The plain reason to track Bing separately is that Google and Bing do not rank the same pages the same way; SE Ranking's own Bing page describes different layouts and ranking signals.

Bar chart of US desktop search share in August 2026: Google 81.99%, Bing 12.82%, Yahoo 3.36%, DuckDuckGo 1.42%.

The test is your own data. Open Bing Webmaster Tools, look at 90 days of clicks, and compare them with Google Search Console. If Bing sends a share that matters to your business, or your buyers skew toward Windows, Edge and Microsoft 365, a tracker earns its fee. If Bing sends almost nothing, check indexing, impressions and click-through rate first, and only then decide whether tracking is worth paying for.

The Short List

Entry prices below are what each vendor's own page showed on September 30, 2026, in the currency it displayed to a European visitor. Several vendors showed euro prices, and the dollar figures on older roundups are simply stale, so do not compare them directly. Where a vendor shows both billing cycles we give the monthly-billed price first.

Read the table by job. Nightwatch, SE Ranking, SEO PowerSuite, AccuRanker and Semrush all document Bing tracking. Copilot coverage differs by surface and by page: Nightwatch's AI-tracking page names Copilot while its pricing page does not, DataForSEO says its SERP API covers Bing's Copilot Search feature, Bing Webmaster Tools reports citations for your own domain across Copilot and Bing's AI summaries, and Geotoolbox tracks Copilot among its engines.

How We Checked

We read each vendor's pricing page and its help or docs page the same day, and we accepted a Bing claim only when the vendor itself stated it. We did not log in to each product, so this is what vendors document, not a hands-on test, and we did not benchmark tracking accuracy. That matters because the roundups currently ranking for this keyword disagree with the vendors. Several of them quote entry prices that are out of date.

Where a vendor's own pages are inconsistent, as Nightwatch's are on Copilot, we say so and ask you to confirm in a trial.

What to Look for in a Bing Rank Tracker

Four checks separate the tools more than price does.

  • How keywords are counted. SE Ranking counts each keyword once per search engine, so tracking the same terms on Google and Bing takes a target for each engine. Ask every vendor how a Bing check counts against your plan.
  • Depth. Semrush's 2023 announcement described Bing's first 50 positions, SE Ranking describes the top 100, and a SERP API lets you choose.
  • Location and device. Bing results shift by location. AccuRanker's help says a location is attached to every Google and Bing search, and Semrush's guide describes locations down to the postal code level. Pick a tracker that matches the markets you sell in.
  • Reporting. If you send client reports, check where white-label starts: Nightwatch's Professional plan, SE Ranking's Agency Pack add-on, or SEO PowerSuite's Enterprise license. Our white-label reporting tools compared covers the wider field.

Best Bing Rank Trackers in 2026

Each entry says what the vendor documents for Bing, what the entry plan costs, and what to check before you pay.

Nightwatch

Nightwatch lists Bing alongside Google, YouTube, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Google Maps as an engine on every plan, so Bing tracking is not gated behind a higher tier, and it has a dedicated Bing rank tracker page. The Starter plan is EUR 99 a month billed monthly (EUR 79 a month billed yearly) for 500 keywords checked daily. Professional, at EUR 199 a month, is where white-label reports and API access start, with room for 2,500 keywords.

That makes it a fit for agencies that want Bing at every tier. The catch is Copilot: Nightwatch's pricing page lists its AI platforms without it, but its AI-tracking page says it tracks mentions across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. The vendor's own pages are inconsistent, so confirm in the trial that Copilot prompts run on your plan.

SE Ranking

SE Ranking has a dedicated Bing page. Its Bing position tracker page describes daily Bing rankings for any country, the top 100 Bing results per keyword, competitor tracking, Excel and CSV exports, and a side-by-side comparison of Bing and Google positions. The page names no plan restriction.

On the subscription page, Core is EUR 109 a month billed monthly (EUR 87.20 a month billed annually) and covers 2,000 daily keyword targets and 100 AI prompts. Growth is EUR 235 monthly (EUR 188 annually) for 5,000.

It suits teams that want a full SEO suite with Bing as a first-class engine. Price in these costs: the page's own tooltip says daily keywords are counted as keyword times search engine, so Core covers half as many keywords if you track each on both Google and Bing, and white-label reporting is the Agency Pack add-on, EUR 59 a month on annual billing only. The AI Search add-on (EUR 79 a month billed monthly) lists AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT, not Copilot.

SEO PowerSuite Rank Tracker

Rank Tracker is desktop software for Windows, Mac and Linux, and it is the odd one out on cost. On its pricing page, a standalone Rank Tracker Professional license is EUR 179 a year and Rank Tracker Enterprise, for client work, is EUR 419 a year. The full SEO PowerSuite costs EUR 349 and EUR 599 a year. A free version of Rank Tracker exists.

The same page lists rank tracking in "400+ search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, and more)". Other pages on the vendor's site give a different engine count, so read 400+ as approximate.

It fits a freelancer with a very long keyword list who would rather pay a flat yearly fee than a per-keyword subscription. It is installed software, so it suits one person better than a team that wants a shared login and a hosted dashboard, and scheduled checks depend on the machine it runs on.

AccuRanker

AccuRanker's Bing support is documented where it counts. Its help page on adding keywords says you can track keywords on Google, Bing, Baidu and YouTube, on desktop and mobile. Another help page says search volume for Google, Bing and Naver keywords comes straight from those engines' ad platforms each month, which helps if you weigh Bing keywords by volume.

On the pricing page, Professional starts at EUR 249 a month billed monthly (EUR 224 billed yearly) with keyword tiers of 2,000, 3,000 and 5,000. Expert starts at EUR 849 a month (EUR 764 yearly) for 10,000 to 25,000 keywords.

It fits agencies tracking thousands of keywords across many clients. The smallest tier is 2,000 keywords, which makes it poor value if your Bing list is a few hundred terms.

Semrush Position Tracking

If you already pay for Semrush, check this before buying anything. Semrush's Position Tracking setup guide says you can set a campaign's search engine to Google, Bing, Baidu, ChatGPT or Google AI Mode. Adding further campaigns across devices, locations and search engines is described as available only on its Guru and Business tiers, names that predate the current plan labels, so confirm what your plan allows. Semrush's multi-targeting help adds that keywords assigned to another target count toward your limit again.

Semrush announced Bing tracking in December 2023, describing organic results from Bing's first 50 positions, Bing SERP features and Bing's AI-powered SERP features (AI chat, AI stories, AI summary and Ask AI). The current guide does not restate those AI features. The entry SEO plan on the pricing page is EUR 134 a month billed monthly (EUR 112.52 billed annually) for 500 keywords tracked daily.

It suits teams whose reporting already lives in Semrush. On the entry plan, the documented route is one search engine per campaign; running Google and Bing side by side needs extra campaigns that the guide ties to higher tiers, so confirm with Semrush, including how a second engine counts against your 500-keyword limit.

DataForSEO Bing SERP API

An API is the do-it-yourself route, and the one left open once Microsoft closed its official API. DataForSEO's Bing Organic SERP API pricing is charged per SERP of 10 results: $0.0006 on the standard queue (5 minutes on average, with a 45-minute guaranteed turnaround), $0.0012 on the priority queue, and $0.002 in live mode. Depth multiplies the price, because each extra 10 results counts as another SERP. DataForSEO's Bing SERP API page also says it covers tracking visibility in the Bing Copilot Search feature, which is a different surface from Copilot chat. Funding an account requires a minimum payment of $50.

For 1,000 keywords checked once a day for 30 days, that is 30,000 checks. At top-10 depth on the standard queue that comes to about $18 a month, and the full top 100 is ten SERPs per check, so about $180. Those figures leave out storage, a dashboard, alerting and your own time. DataForSEO also supplies data for our own research and parts of our tracking, so weigh that when you read this entry.

It suits developers and analytics teams that want raw Bing results in their own warehouse. DataForSEO has an account dashboard but no ready-made rank-tracking interface or reporting, so you build those yourself.

Bing Webmaster Tools

Bing Webmaster Tools is free and it is Bing's own data. The Search Performance report in Bing Webmaster Tools gives you clicks, impressions, average click-through rate and average position. Microsoft extended the data window to 16 months and, according to Search Engine Roundtable, to 24 months in 2025, although Microsoft's help page has not caught up. Microsoft's help page says average position is available for Web traffic, and its source table lists it for Web and Chat.

It suits a first look at how your own site performs in Bing, at no cost, with clear limits: it covers your domain only, shows no competitors, and average position is an average over impressions rather than a live rank for a keyword you chose.

Geotoolbox

We build a multi-engine AI visibility tool, so we will place ourselves the way we placed everyone else. Geotoolbox is not a Bing rank tracker: it does not report your positions in Bing's blue-link results. It covers the AI layer, with Bing Copilot among up to 8 engines. On our pricing page, Starter is $99 a month and tracks 3 engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews), so Copilot is not in it. Plus is $199 a month and lets you pick 5 of the 8 engines, and Copilot can be one of them. Pro is $399 with all 8. Scans run weekly.

It suits checking whether Copilot mentions and cites you, next to reachability checks on your robots.txt. The downsides are that scans are weekly while the hosted trackers above check daily, and that Copilot starts at $199. If you only need your own domain's Copilot citations, Bing Webmaster Tools is free and first-party.

Also Worth Checking

Advanced Web Ranking lists Bing among its engines on its pricing page, next to Yahoo, Naver and Baidu, though we did not price it for this guide. For local businesses, Whitespark's local rank tracker says it tracks Local Packs, Maps and organic results in Google and Bing on desktop and mobile. For a one-off look, Rankifyer advertises a free Bing SERP checker.

Does Ahrefs Track Bing? Its Docs Point to Google Only

ScrapingBee's roundup, one of the top-ranking pages for this keyword, lists Ahrefs as a conventional Bing rank tracker with a $129 entry price, which matches the Lite plan on Ahrefs' pricing page. Ahrefs' own documentation says otherwise. Its help center defines a tracked keyword as a keyword added to Rank Tracker "to track positions in Google search results" for a site. We found no Bing option in the Rank Tracker documentation or the plan pages as of September 30, 2026.

Ahrefs users have asked for one. A request to track Bing and Yahoo rankings sits on Ahrefs' public feedback board, first posted in 2018, with comments as recent as 2023. That is not proof of the current roadmap, and Ahrefs could add Bing tomorrow. Ahrefs does sell Copilot visibility tracking, but in Brand Radar, a separate product from Rank Tracker. If you run Ahrefs for Google, budget for one of the trackers above to cover Bing.

Bing Webmaster Tools vs a Rank Tracker: Which Number to Trust

Bing Webmaster Tools and a rank tracker answer different questions, so their numbers can differ without either being wrong.

Microsoft defines average position as "the average of the different positions on which any page of your website appeared in Bing search results". It comes from real impressions, and Microsoft says impressions in the report include chat responses, news answers, image results and knowledge panels. A rank tracker does the opposite: it asks Bing the same question at a fixed location and device, for keywords you chose, and records where you appear on the Bing SERP at that moment.

  • Bing Webmaster Tools shows what happened to your visitors, but only for queries that produced impressions, so it cannot tell you about a keyword where you are invisible, and it shows no competitors.
  • A tracker shows a sampled result for the location and device you set, gives you a clean daily line for the terms you care about, and shows who sits above you.

Use Bing Webmaster Tools to check that Bing can reach and index you and to see real click data. Use a tracker when you need a fixed keyword set, competitor context or a daily trend. Google Search Console and a Google rank tracker split the job the same way, and the same caution about averages applies there.

Track Both Layers: Bing Rankings and Copilot Citations

Ranking in Bing and being cited by Copilot are related, but they are not the same measurement, and few tools document both in one product. Microsoft added a first-party view of the second on February 10, 2026, when it launched AI Performance in Bing Webmaster Tools as a public preview. It shows how your content is cited across Microsoft Copilot, AI-generated summaries in Bing and select partner integrations: total citations, average cited pages per day, the grounding queries the AI used, and citations per page. Microsoft says these numbers do not indicate ranking or placement within an answer. Since then it has added preview views for Intents, Topics, Citation Share and Compare, where Citation Share shows your relative presence for a grounding query without naming competitors.

Here is where to read each measurement.

Coverage as documented on each vendor's pages on September 30, 2026. Not listed means Copilot is not named on the pages we checked.

Both layers start upstream: Bing has to discover and index the page. Blocking Bingbot can stop that discovery or refresh and limit what is eligible to rank or be cited. Check your AI crawler access first, then use IndexNow and the other Bing steps to keep Bing's copy current.

For the citation layer, our guide to the best Copilot rank trackers compares the tools that run Copilot prompts and says which only claim to. If you want one dashboard across engines rather than a Bing specialist, see our AI rank tracker comparison, and for Google's side of the same problem, the AI Overview tracker guide.

How to Choose a Bing Rank Tracker

Pick by situation. Of the tools we checked, the ones that document Bing organic tracking are Nightwatch, SE Ranking, SEO PowerSuite Rank Tracker, AccuRanker and Semrush, plus a raw SERP API if you build your own. Ahrefs Rank Tracker does not, on its own documentation, and Bing Webmaster Tools reports real traffic and average position.

  • You manage client accounts and need reports: Nightwatch or SE Ranking. Both put Bing in the standard product, and both gate white-label reporting behind a higher plan or an add-on, so price that in.
  • You have one very long keyword list and work alone: SEO PowerSuite Rank Tracker, for the flat yearly license.
  • You track thousands of keywords for many clients: AccuRanker, where the pricing is built for volume.
  • You already pay for Semrush: check which tier lets you run Bing next to Google, and how the second engine counts against your keyword limit.
  • You want Bing data in your own warehouse: a SERP API such as DataForSEO, and plan for the build.
  • You need to know whether Copilot cites you: Bing Webmaster Tools first, then an AI visibility tool that runs Copilot. The generative engine optimization tools roundup covers the wider field.

Whichever you pick, set up Bing Webmaster Tools alongside it, because it costs nothing and shows whether Bing gives you traffic worth tracking at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best Bing rank tracker?

Nightwatch and SE Ranking both list Bing as a standard engine, so they suit Bing positions next to Google in a hosted dashboard. AccuRanker or SEO PowerSuite Rank Tracker fit very large keyword lists. For free first-party data on your own site, start with Bing Webmaster Tools.

How do I check my Bing rankings?

Start with the Search Performance report in Bing Webmaster Tools for real clicks, impressions and average position. For a quick spot check of one keyword, use a free Bing rank checker page or search in a private window with your country set, knowing results vary by location. For a fixed list you want to watch every day, use a rank tracker.

Is there a free Bing rank tracker?

Bing Webmaster Tools is free and covers your own site. SEO PowerSuite also offers a free version of Rank Tracker. Free tools limit the rest: SEO PowerSuite's free edition, for example, allows one competitor per project.

Does Ahrefs track Bing rankings?

Not in Rank Tracker, according to Ahrefs' own documentation. Its help center describes tracked keywords as positions in Google search results, and we found no Bing option in its documentation or plan pages on September 30, 2026. A request for Bing tracking was posted on its feedback board in 2018.

Is Bing Webmaster Tools average position a real rank?

No. It is an average of the positions where your pages appeared for real users, so it moves with location and device. A rank tracker records where you appear at a fixed location and device for chosen keywords. Use the first to see what happened and the second to watch a fixed set of terms.

Can I build my own Bing rank tracker now that the API is gone?

Yes, but not with Microsoft's API, which was retired on August 11, 2025. You would use a SERP API that returns Bing results. With DataForSEO, tracking 1,000 keywords daily at top-10 depth costs roughly $18 a month on the standard queue before you build storage, charts or alerts.

Make Sure Bing Can Reach You

Before you pay to watch Bing rankings or Copilot citations, make sure Bing can reach your pages. A blocked crawler can explain missing rankings and missing citations. Our free robots.txt tester checks your rules for Bingbot, and the AI crawler checker covers the AI bots. Our AI visibility tracker picks up from there when you want to track Copilot and the other engines over time.
